I’ve created a mksh config to make adb shell better [At the time of posting this post, it has ~100 stars.] . Its giving you a colorful shell with the option to cd any directory in /sdcard, Android/data or / without typing the full path (e.g. cd com.android.chrome works even when you are in / directory). It also has an experimental feature of history.
