Jyothika has been making headlines ever since she made her comeback in Bollywood. The actress was last seen playing the leading lady in Shaitan. While she is basking in the success of the film, she is also cheering for her husband Suriya’s most awaited movie Kanguva. The movie has been delayed several times and fans are eagerly waiting to catch it in the theaters. Fueling fans’ anticipation, Jyothika recently spilled beans about it.
Jyothika praises Suriya’s work in Kanguva
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Jyothika praised her actor husband Suriya and his dedication to his work. She mentioned how he puts 200% into his work. She said, “I think Suriya is fabulous; he puts 200% into the film, and this I wouldn’t say because I’m his wife, maybe I’m married to him because of this quality of his that he is so he gives his, you know, whether it’s my children, whether it’s our marriage, whether it’s his career, he just gives his 200%.”
The Kaadhal: The Core movie star did not stop there and went on to laud Suriya. She added, “I think he’s a fabulous actor; he’s a fabulous man; you know, when it comes to fulfilling all his duties, he’s just there.”
During the interview, Jyothika also talked about Suriya’s awaited movie Kanguva. Without spilling many details, she revealed that she had not watched it yet. However, she did have a look at a few parts of the movie.
She said, “Kanguva looks, I haven’t seen, I’ve only seen the few of the rushes and clips, but it’s definitely I feel that cinema is going to witness something for the first time, which is so magnum opus and so well-made and as far as a wife goes, yeah, we were waiting for the haircut for a long time because we were traveling that for one and the half years everywhere, but yeah, he’s just phenomenal.” “I have no words for his body of work and the efforts he puts in.”
Helmed by Siva, the movie also stars Bobby Deol in a crucial role. The chemistry between Suriya and Bobby Deol is expected to be interesting. The movie’s release date has not been revealed yet.
