Local kids learn about business, entrepreneurship through annual fair

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Young entrepreneurs around Albuquerque got the chance to test their sales skills on Saturday at the Acton Children’s Business Fair.

Acton Academy of Albuquerque hosted the 5th annual event near Menaul and Carlisle.

According to the school, the fair is the largest entrepreneurship event for kids in North America.

There were 45 booths of kids between the ages of 6 and 18 putting their own items up for sale, trying to make a profit.

The co-founder of Action Academy Albuquerque said academies across the country are guided by the principle: “Every child is a genius.”
