Mahō Tsukai No Yakusoku – Promise of Wizard Anime Reveals Cast, Staff & More

On Wednesday, April 24, 2024, the official website for the upcoming adaptation of the Mahō Tsukai no Yakusoku – Promise of Wizard smartphone game made a brand-new announcement. The announcement revealed the cast and staff members for the same.

The upcoming anime is based on company Coly, Inc.’s popular smartphone game, launched in 2019. Bunta Tsushimi wrote the scenarios, and Dangmill created the original character designs. Additionally, the popular game is set to receive a manga adaptation by Shibatarō Nakamura this June.

Promise of Wizard Anime: Everything you need to know

As mentioned earlier, the Promised of Wizard game will be getting an anime adaptation. However, the staff has not made the exact release date public.

The anime cast members comprise the voice actors from the smartphone game. They include Yumiri Hanamori as Akira Masaki, Takashi Kondō as Oz, and Atsushi Tamaru as Arthur. Furthermore, Keisuke Kōmoto will star as Heathcliff, Noriaki Sugiyama as Nero, Kōhei Amasaki as Chloe, and Katsuyuki Miura as Rustica. Joining them will be Daichi Kanbara, who will play Cain, Yuusuke Nagano, who will play Riquet, Chihiro Suzuki, who will play Snow, and Takuma Terashima, who will play White.

Nobuhiko Okamoto as Shino

Shinnosuke Tachibana as Shylock

Mizuki Nakamura as Murr

Toshiyuki Morikawa as Figaro

Shunichi Toki as Rutile

Shintarō Asanuma as Owen

As for staff, Naoyuki Tatsuwa will direct the anime at Liden Films, while Nanami Higuchi will write the script. Nozomi Nagatomo is the character designer, Shūji Katayama is the music composer, and Ryō Tanaka is the sound director for the show. Joining them will be Minami Kasuga, who will handle background art, Koji Yamakoshi will direct the photography, and Mai Hasegawa will be the editor. 

The anime follows Akira Masaki, an ordinary woman from Japan who is summoned to another world by a group of wizards to serve as a sage. Her job is to join the fight against the great calamity by training new wizards from all five nations.
