Ne-Yo Plots Australia & New Zealand Tour

Ne-Yo Plots Australia & New Zealand Tour

R&B singer, hitmaker and three-time Grammy winner Ne-Yo has announced the Australia and New Zealand leg of his Champagne & Roses tour with special guest Lloyd.

While the Closer singer was in Australia for Juicy Festival last year, RNB Fridayz in 2017, and Winterbeatz in 2010, Ne-Yo hasn’t performed headline dates in Australia since 2006.

Taking place this September and October, Ne-Yo’s Champagne & Roses antipodean run begins on Thursday, 26 September at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena before heading to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre (Saturday, 28 September), Perth’s RAC Arena (Sunday, 29 September), Brisbane Entertainment Centre (Wednesday, 2 October), and Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena (Thursday, 3 October), before wrapping up the tour at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Saturday, 5 October.

Fans can access two pre-sale ticket options before the general sale begins. Mastercard holders can access pre-sale tickets on Wednesday, 17 April, at 10 am local time—visit Mastercard’s ticket website, Priceless, for more information.

Meanwhile, My Live Nation members can access pre-sale tickets on Friday, 19 April, from 11 am. General sale tickets will be available from 11 am on Monday, 22 April, via the Live Nation Australia and Live Nation New Zealand websites.

If you’re wondering what kind of a performer Ne-Yo is, he’s touted to be the consummate professional, with The Music’s Neil Griffiths writing about his 2017 visit: “The singer’s vocals haven’t wavered even an ounce in over a decade, as he belted out tracks like So Sick, Miss Independent and When You’re Mad with ease.”

Griffiths added, “If you were listening from outside the arena, you could have sworn someone just blasted a Ne-Yo playlist on Spotify around Qudos Bank Arena.”
