One hospitalized after peanut mill fire in Portales

LUBBOCK, Texas — Crews are on the scene of a fire at the peanut mill on Highway 70 in Portales, New Mexico that started on Monday afternoon, according to a social media post from the Portales Fire Department.

PFD said one person was injured and taken to the hospital. Clovis Fire Department, Arch and Floyd Volunteer Fire Departments requested mutual aid, PFD said.
