Romanian Air Company BEES Receives Air Operator Certificate

A new airline operator will carry Romanians to the Mediterranean this summer, but not only to this destination. BEES Airlines from Romania has just received its Air Operator Certificate—AOC. Based in Bucharest, Romania, BEES Airlines only adds to the offer for Romanians to start travelling more and enjoy their foreign destinations.

We are happy to announce that Bees Airlines has passed all necessary procedures and obtained the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) that allows the airline to start its operational activity. In the coming days, Bees Airlines will launch its first flight. The route network of Bees Airlines will consist of international non-scheduled flights from its hub airport – Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport – to the most popular resorts of Egypt, Turkey, etc. The fleet will consist of Airbus A320-232 aircraft, the part of the A320 Family, and that are considered as the most successful single-aisle aircraft for operators. We will try to take you to your destination with maximum joy and comfort. We believe you will be our passenger forever once you become our passenger!

In February, it took delivery of its first aircraft, Airbus A320 YR-BUZ (1922), and has been used on route-proving flights over the last weeks. According to CH-Aviation, the airline plans to replace its current A320 with another in the coming weeks. Its website also shows renderings of Airbus A321s.

At the beginning of this year, BEES announced it would have a route network consisting of international non-scheduled flights to destinations in Europe, Asia, and Africa.
