The Maker Faire is billed as the “greatest show and tell on earth” and is an opportunity for anyone from part-time tinkerers to professional inventors to showcase their latest projects from robots to clothing to games to electronics.

The City of STEM is a massive interactive science fair that helps get young Angelenos excited and inspired about the world of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

The collaboration of the two events is put on in partnership with the Los Angeles Public Library and is expected to create an action-packed day of experimenting, learning and creating. The Saturday, April 6 event is held from 9 am to 6 pm at Los Angeles State Historic Park, 1245 N. Spring Street, Los Angeles.
