Shooting in Hobbs leaves one man dead

HOBBS, N.M. (KRQE) – The Hobbs Police Department is investigating a shooting that left 28-year-old Gregory Brooks dead.

Monday, April 8 around 10:50 p.m. officers responded to the 1000 block of South Linam St. to reports of a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and found Brooks suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Brooks was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
