Sleet or snow in most of the country, until Thursday evening. Forecast for Bucharest

The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) issued a warning on snow or sleet in most of the country, starting from Tuesday morning (10:00 a.m.) until Thursday evening (8:00 p.m.).

In the mentioned interval, there will temporarily be light precipitation, in the form of snow in the north and center of Moldova and mixed in the south of Moldova, Dobrogea, most of Muntenia and in the south and east of Transylvania.
In the Eastern and Southern Carpathians, it will snow moderately quantitatively locally (10…15 l/m2) and a new layer of snow will be deposited. There will be wind gusts generally of 40…50 km/h in the east, southeast of the country and in the mountains, and during Tuesday also in the west.
Forecast for Bucharest
Temperatures will drop significantly in the Capital and there will be short-term rains in the next three days, says ANM in the special forecast for Bucharest.
On Tuesday, the weather will cool significantly, so the daily thermal values will be below the norms of the period. The sky will be cloudy especially during the day, when it will rain briefly. The wind will blow weak and moderate, with slight gusts in the first part of the interval. The maximum temperature will be around 6 degrees, and the minimum will be 1…2 degrees.
On Wednesday, the temperatures will be increasing compared to the previous day and will be around the normal ones for this period. The sky will be temporarily cloudy and short-term rains will be possible, especially in the second part of the day. Weak and moderate wind will blow. The maximum temperature will be 11…12 degrees, and the minimum 1…2 degrees.
On Thursday,
The temperature values will remain close to the specific ones in the last decade of March, with a maximum of 11…12 degrees. The sky will be cloudy and it will temporarily rain lightly. Weak and moderate wind will blow.
