ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Now that spring is here, the ABQ BioPark is seeing an influx of visitors. Last October, the zoo opened its new Asia exhibit, and with the most recent news of elephant Rozie’s pregnancy, there is so much to look forward to.
“One thing that is exciting we see around this time of year is a lot of people coming from out of state because they are on spring break, and they are picking Albuquerque as a place to visit, which I think is such an honor. So this time of year, around 20% of our guests are coming here from out of state,” says ABQ BioPark’s zoo guest experience manager, Allyson Zahm.
If you plan on visiting the zoo for spring break during time off of school, it is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. To find out more about the ABQ BioPark, click here.
