ENA recently shared The Midnight Studio episode 12 trailer, featuring Joo Won and Kwon Nara as Seo Ki-Joo and Han Bom, respectively. The ghost photographer and his lawyer girlfriend found a painful past connection in the previous episode.
Episode 11 ended with Han Bom recalling that Ki-Joo’s uncle saved her when she met with an accident as a child. While helping her, the same car that caused the accident hit his uncle and killed him. Hence, Ki-Joo and Han Bom’s families died because of a common culprit.
In the upcoming episode, the lead characters’ relationship will grow stronger. However, the latest trailer teases a sad ending for Ki-Joo, hinting at his death.

The Midnight Studio episode 12 trailer: Joo Won becomes a ghost
The Midnight Studio episode 12 trailer begins with Ki-Joo (Joo Won) comforting Han Bom (Kwon Nara) after she remembers the traumatic accident. In response, she mentions that she needs to find out the truth. The next scene shows Han Bom embracing Ki-Joo.
Meanwhile, Baek Nam-Gu’s wife realizes that her late husband’s ghost is around. She begs him to leave her alone. On the other hand, Assistant Go seems to have a romantic date with Han Bom’s friend, Ji-Won. In the previous episode, the latter confirmed that a ghost was helping her. In the upcoming episode, she will share some heart-fluttering moments with him, followed by learning about the mysterious photo studio.
Towards the end of the trailer, the dangerous evil ghost returns to kill Ki-Joo again. The latter narrates, “You also killed my uncle.” Furthermore, it shows Assistant Go crying in agony and begging the paramedics to save Ki-Joo as he lies unconscious, covered in blood.
The final scene features Han Bom trying to hold Ki-Joo’s hand, but they pass through, hinting at him turning into a ghost. He says, “I promised not to make you cry again. I’m sorry.”
The Midnight Studio episode 12 will air on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 10.00 p.m. KST on ENA. It also streams on Viki.
