TUD Group supports the Town Hall of Sector 6 in obtaining a grant for the technical assistance related to the new hospital financed by the Development Bank of the Council of Europe

TUD Group, one of the largest groups of local independent financial consulting, IT solutions and technical consulting companies, assisted the City Hall of Sector 6 in obtaining a grant for the construction of a new hospital.

Through the funding agreement signed today, a grant of 1.8 million euros will be awarded to support the planning and implementation phase. To this financing will be added a substantial loan of 72.9 million euros from the Development Bank of the Council of Europe (BDCE), guaranteed by the InvestEU programme.

From the medical conception, to carrying out the feasibility study and obtaining the financing, TUD Group provided technical and financial expertise, ensuring that the project meets the highest standards and benefits from the necessary support to be successful.

“The financial structure of this project is complex. We are talking about non-reimbursable EU funds for technical assistance and a partial guarantee from the European Commission, through the InvestEU Programme, Sector 6’s own funds and the financing provided by an international financial institution such as BDCE. Our role was to ensure that all these elements align to turn the vision into reality”, explained Mihai Tudorancea, Managing Director of TUD Group.

The new hospital will not only contribute to improving life expectancy in Romania, which continues to be below the EU average, but will also provide improved working conditions for nearly 1,200 medical professionals, thus strengthening the retention of specialists in the country.
