Winds will be breezy, especially around the mountains and east of the central mountain chain, with gusts of 30 to 40 mph. The Rio Grande Valley, southern New Mexico and the Four Corners will see lighter winds, only up to around 30 mph. Skies will stay sunny for all.
A cold front will start to move into northeast New Mexico Thursday, arriving for the rest of the east on Friday, and bringing rain chances to eastern and central New Mexico on Saturday. Temperatures will drastically cool down east of the central mountain chain on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
