Tamil star Kamal Haasan will reunite with celebrated filmmaker Mani Ratnam soon. The actor-director duo aims to entertain the audience again with their upcoming movie Thug Life. It has been a while since the makers of the movie unveiled its first poster, but more details are still awaited. However, rumors about its cast are making rounds in the film circle.
It was announced that Thug Life’s cast will feature Dulquer Salmaan, Jayam Ravi, and Trisha. Yet, sources close to the development have claimed Salmaan and Ravi’s exit from the project. To replace the Sita Ramam star, Silambarasan TR‘s name has been swirling around. The latest report has hinted at a possible on-screen romance between Trisha and Silambarasan.
Silambarasan paired up with Trisha in Thug Life?
According to OTTplay, Silambarasan’s role in Thug Life is prominent. His entry into to project sparks interest because of his pairing with Trisha. The report claimed that the Pathu Thala star will have scenes with both Trisha and the movie’s lead Kamal Haasan.
If the reports are accurate, the film will mark the reunion of the Ponniyin Selvan actress and Silambarasan after the 2010 movie Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa.
Thug Life is currently in production, and its shooting is in full swing. Along with the rumored on-screen pair, Gautham Karthik, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Gautham Karthik allegedly have a shoot scheduled in Jaisalmer. According to reports, the following shoot location for the movie is Delhi. However, the makers have yet to reveal the roles of the film’s key cast.
Kamal Haasan will play a thug, criminal, and gangster named Rangaraya Sakhtivel Nayakar. His unique look from the movie has already intrigued the audience. Moreover, as AR Rahman’s music backs the movie, the anticipation around it has grown to manifolds.
