ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A woman who is no stranger to police is now accused of being a getaway driver during several robberies. Brooke Hefty, along with Isidro Gallegos, is facing a charge of robbery with a deadly weapon.
Police say that beginning on February 5, Hefty and Gallegos robbed multiple stores, motels, and restaurants. They say Hefty was the getaway driver and issued a warrant for her arrest. She’s facing a charge of armed robbery with a deadly weapon.
