Among the victims who lost their lives following the explosion at the hydroelectric plant on the Suviana reservoir, near Bologna, there is also a Romanian, according to La Repubblica.

The Italian publication learned the names of the victims of the explosion, and a Romanian is among them. He was 45 years old and a resident of Settimo Torinese, Turin province, according to the quoted source.

The other victims identified are a 73-year-old man, resident of San Marzano di San Giuseppe (Taranto province), and a 35-year-old man, resident of Sinagra (Messina province).

The explosion at the hydropower plant of this reservoir located in the Apennines mountain range occurred around 15:00 local time, on the ninth floor of the plant, about 30 meters below the water level, while maintenance work was being carried out on the turbines. The explosion was followed by a fire.
