ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Primates at the Albuquerque BioPark are enjoying some newly improved habitats. The BioPark says they have upgraded the enclosures of their chimpanzees, orangutans and gorillas as part of a recent enrichment project.

The habitats feature new structures for swinging, climbing and lounging. The BioPark says the new updates in the chimpanzee exhibit are allowing the troop to exhibit more natural behaviors, which elevates their physical and mental wellbeing.
