ANIS, the Employers’ Association of the Software and Services Industry has a new president. Edward Crețescu, CEO of Regista, was elected in this role during the General Assembly of Members that took place yesterday, April 23, 2024.
During the same meeting, a new Board of Directors of the Association was also elected. The composition of the new Board is as follows:

* Cătălina Dodu / Cybersecurity Leader, EY România
* Oleg Roibu / Legal & Public Policy Director eMag
* Ion Moldoveanu / VP Lead Technology Manager, Deutsche Bank Global Technology
* Matei Dumitrescu / Director, Graal Soft
* Anca Fotache / Center of Excellence Lead and General Manager, Booking Holdings România
Edward Crețescu will replace Mihai Matei, after the two statutory mandates from 2020-2024 ended.
“It is an honor for me to be named president of ANIS, the representative employers’ organization of the software and services industry, with a 25-year tradition in Romania. I want to thank the members of the Association for their trust. Together with my colleagues from the new Board of Directors, I want to support ANIS in all its activities to promote the interests of the IT industry both at the national and international level and I hope to transform Romania in a real regional innovation hub, together with the public decision-makers, the community of members and ANIS partners. My goal is also for ANIS to become an increasingly strong dialogue partner for the authorities in the process of digital transformation of our society, for the real benefit of citizens and companies in Romania“, said Edward Crețescu.
Edward Crețescu was active as a member of the ANIS Board of Directors during 2022-2023. From November 2022, he is CEO of Regista company, previously holding the role of Head of Sales at Digidemat.
