Episode 7 of Apartment 404 arrived on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, April 5, 2024. The new episode features the original six cast members of the variety mystery-solving show. The participants included BLACKPINK’s Jennie, Yoo Jae-Suk, Cha Tae-Hyun, Lee Jung-Ha, Yang Se-Chan, as well as Oh Na Ra. The latest episode sees the cast exploring and trying to solve a 2011 University mystery case.
As revealed towards the end of Apartment 404 episode 7, the episode’s mystery revolves around the “Pyramid Scheme” case in South Korea in 2011. The case involves missing students from a university. The cast members have to solve the mystery of the university and, in the end, find the missing students, along with two of the cast members, who also go missing during the episode.
Apartment 404 Episode 7: Team Band Club finds their missing member Lee Jung-Ha first
Episode 7 of Apartment 404 begins with an introduction to the episode’s case. It centers around a university mystery case from in 2011. The cast enters a university campus as freshmen. They are then divided into two groups — Band Club and Dance Club. The Band Club includes Lee Jung-Ha, Oh Na Ra and Cha Tae-Hyun. Meanwhile, the Dance Club includes Jennie, Yoo Jae-Suk, and Yang Se-Chan.
It featured guest appearances from famous South Korean choreographer and dancer Aiki and the runner-ups of Superstar K4, DickPunks. Both teams must play games to win clues and solve the case. Aiki and members of DickPunks also take part in the game. In the first game, the Band Club could not succeed. Instead, team Dance Club wins a delicious dinner and an important clue. However, the losing team also got a hint to solve the case.
In Apartment 404 episode 7, both teams use the clues to find out what the keyword of the case is. Through the clues, the two teams learn that the 2011 university case is about a Pyramid Scheme. Many students were lured with the promise of a massive amount of money. Unfortunately, they are kidnapped and trapped by the perpetrators. The primary mission of the cast is to find these students who go missing throughout the episode.
Toward the end of episode 7 of Apartment 404, the two teams learn that some of their members have disappeared. They are Yang Se-Chan from team Dance Club and Lee Jung-Ha from team Band Club. With this, the plot thickens. In other words, the remaining team members have two goals — finding both their missing members and the students in order to win the episode’s game.
With all the hints coming together, both Band Club and Dance Club find the cabins where the kidnappers have kept the hostages. However, the cabin doors need passwords to open. Both teams finally identified the password correctly and rescued their members. Since Team Band Club was the first to rescue their member Lee Jung-Ha, they won the game in episode 7.
