INSCOP: What is the main source of information for Romanians?

TV channels are the main source of information for more than half of Romanians, followed by social networks (28.3%), according to the data of a survey conducted by INSCOP on behalf of News.ro.

43% of those surveyed believe that social networks are the most exposed to disinformation, and 45.6% consider Russia to be the main source of fake news, followed by the EU, USA, Hungary, and China.

51.6% of Romanians use to get information most often from TV stations, 28.3% from social networks, 12.7% from news websites, 4.8% from radio stations and 1 .3% from newspapers and magazines. 1.3% of those questioned do not know or do not answer, according to the INSCOP survey.

Who is informed most often from TV stations in somewhat higher proportions than the average population” PSD-PNL voters, women, people over 45 years of age, those with a lower level of education, the passive inactive, the inhabitants of small towns or from rural areas, those with a lower income and those who do not have an account on social networks.
