Oblivion Battery episode 3 recap
The episode begins with Todo asking Chihaya if he is going to sign up for the baseball team, but he refuses. Meanwhile, Kei, Kiyomine, and Yamada stalk them from outside the class. Kei invites them to his house after school; though reluctant at first, Kiyomine is able to convince them.
Upon arriving, they meet his mom, who treats everyone nicely at first before calling them all virgins and laughing. Chihaya and Todo laugh at Kei for having to deal with her every day, and they all bond over Kei’s baseball glove. Kiyomine then gives them the registration form to sign, and they accept it.
The next day, they all show up for practice, with Chihaya and Todo happy to be playing again. However, their practice is interrupted by an invitation letter to have a practice match at Teitoku High School. After witnessing the facilities, Chihaya and Todo are regretful for rejecting their offer. They run into Eiichiro Kokuto, the school’s star player and one of the most popular players in the junior league. He feels sad that neither Kei nor Kiyomine can remember him, and he vows to make them remember his name. The episode ends with the match commencing.
