Randy’s Donuts, known for its huge donut on the roof, opens shop in NoHo

Randy’s Donuts announced this week that it is “ready to sprinkle joy in North Hollywood” with its newest store opening in the San Fernando Valley on Wednesday, March 27. The iconic sweets peddler founded in 1952 is famous for its more than 60 varieties of donuts and “rounds” — their “version of a donut hole.”

But even if you have never tried their hand-made donuts, you probably recognize its 32-foot-tall “giant rooftop donut at the original location in Inglewood.

Franchise operator Panos Grivakis said in a statement, “It’s been almost a year in the making, and we are so excited to be finally opening in one of our favorite areas in the Valley, in the heart of NoHo’s famous Arts District.”

He praised NoHo, saying the community “is extremely close and they love to support local business owners. Not only are we ecstatic about bringing the world famous Randy’s Donuts to the neighborhood, but Randy’s now offers a robust and delicious drinks menu that includes specialty coffee, refreshers, boba and milkshakes utilizing some of Randy’s famous donut flavors.”

Aside from the new location at 4805 Vineland Avenue in North Hollywood, Randy’s Donuts has locations in Burbank, Inglewood, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Las Vegas, the Philippines, South Korea and Saudi Arabia.
