Romania Promotes Its Tourism in Rome and Milan

The Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism (MEAT) is running a new outdoor campaign to promote the destination Romania in Rome and Milan.

“Italy, let yourself be surprised by Romania! MEAT is running a new outdoor campaign to promote our destination, this time in Rome and Milan. The campaign ‘Lasciati sorprendere dalla Romania!’ thus invites passers-by to discover our country, through a selection of spectacular images that will be displayed on two trams and 100 billboards, located in 67 metro stations in Milan, as well as on 90 city buses in Rome” , says a post on MEAT’s Facebook page.

For 14 days, between March 26 and April 8, the 100 billboards, located in the 67 metro stations in Milan, will display images of Peleș Castle, Sucevița Monastery and Transfăgărășan.

On the other hand, for 21 days, between March 27 and April 16, the 90 urban buses, fully pasted on the back with the three images, will cross the important tourist spots in Rome.

Also, for 28 days, between March 28 and April 24, passers-by will be able to admire the same three images, which will be displayed on two urban trams in Milan, these being fully decorated on both sides.

MEAT explained that the choice of Rome and Milan as locations for the campaign is not accidental, given that both are important cultural and economic centers with a rich history and close ties to Romania.
