Bollywood’s superstar, Shah Rukh Khan, has been on a roll lately. After a triumphant 2023 with hits like Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki, Khan’s fans are on the edge of their seats for his next movie. Fortunately, the superstar recently provided a much-awaited update on his upcoming movie.
Shah Rukh Khan’s next movie production to start soon
Shah Rukh Khan, fondly called SRK, revealed that after a whirlwind of three movie releases in 2023, he decided to take a well-deserved breather. Speaking in an interview with Star Sports, he shared (originally in Hindi), “I just felt I can rest a little. I have done two to three films and there was a lot of physical work also in all the three films.” Opting to take some time off, he focused his attention on his other passion, cricket, particularly his own IPL team, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
While discussing his hiatus from filming, Khan expressed his excitement about attending KKR’s matches, stating, “So I would like to come to all the home matches, because I love coming here (Eden Gardens).”
Fans fret not, for Shah Rukh Khan’s hiatus is short-lived. The actor further revealed, “Fortunately, my shooting is in August or July. We planned in June, so it may start in June.”
With the shooting of his next film slated to commence in the coming months, anticipation reaches a fever pitch. What’s more intriguing is the buzz surrounding this project. After all, the upcoming film is reportedly a collaboration with his daughter, Suhana Khan. The duo is gearing up to feature together for the first time in an action-packed thriller helmed by the acclaimed director, Sujoy Ghosh. It is tentatively titled King. Additionally, it is a joint venture between Red Chillies Entertainment and Siddharth Anand’s Marflix Entertainment.
