The popular crime action K-drama The Player, starring Song Seung Heon, is all set to return with a brand-new season 2 on tvN in June 2024. Season 2 of the series has been titled The Player 2: Master of Swindlers. tvN has recently released a new post for the upcoming season on Instagram on April 24, 2024.
The newly dropped Instagram post by tvN has revealed the exact release date and time of the second season of the series. Per the post, the series will premiere on tvN on Monday, June 3, 2024. The air time of the K-drama is 8.50 p.m. KST.

The new post released by tvN shows several stills from the upcoming crime action K-drama. The photos reveal the main cast members of the series. As displayed in the photos, the cast list includes three original cast members – Song Seung Heon, Tae Won Seok, and Lee Si Eon.
Song Seung Heon will reprise his main role as Kang Ha Ri in The Player 2: Master of Swindlers. Meanwhile, actors Lee Si Eon and Tae Won Seok are also set to reprise their respective characters, Im Byung Min and Do Jin Woong, in the upcoming second season of the series.
The cast list also has two new members. The new cast members of season 2 are Jang Gyu Ri and Oh Yeon Seo. Actress Oh Yeon Seo will portray one of the significant characters, Jung Soo-Min, in the series’ season 2. Finally, actress Jang Gyu Ri will play another vital role, Cha Je Yi, in the new season. Viewers are in for a thrilling and action-packed new season of the series.
