Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival: The festival celebrates cowboy culture plus Santa Clarita Valley’s ties to cowboy/western films made in the area — and, of course, movie star William S. Chatsworth Nature Preserve Earth Day Open House: Los Angeles Department of Water and Power presents the open house that opens with a Native American blessing ceremony, followed by guided nature hikes, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 27.
