NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Taking food, restaurants, and shopping into account, an April 10 Yelp report reveals the “Top 50 Fastest Growing Brands” in the United States.
Yelp compiled the ranking based on net new business openings, consumer interest, and Yelp searches from 2022 to 2023, naming the top five fastest-growing brands in each state. New Mexico’s five fastest-growing brands are as follows:
Dutch Bros
Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen
Scooter’s Coffee
Ace Hardware Corporation
Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers
The Land of Enchantment is the only state with Dutch Bros leading its top five list. Throughout the nation, Scooter’s Coffee ranks No. 1 frequently, topping the list in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Kentucky, Arkansas, and Texas.
Leading the restaurant category, CAVA ranks as the fastest-growing brand in Pennsylvania, California, Colorado, Alabama, and Georgia. As for the shopping category, Ace Hardware Corporation tops the list, ranking as the fastest-growing brand in Alaska, Vermont, Montana, Nevada, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and the District of Columbia.
According to Yelp, the fastest-growing brand overall is CAVA. The report says, “Established in 2010, CAVA’s vision of introducing a new, healthier dining option to a wider audience has enabled it to become one of the fastest growing businesses as it opened 72 new locations across the U.S. in 2023 alone. According to Yelp data, the brand saw a 54% increase in consumer interest nationwide from 2023, compared to 2022.”
The top five fastest-growing brands in the nation are CAVA, Scooter’s Coffee, LongHorn Steakhouse, The Habit Burger Grill, and Wawa, according to the Yelp ranking. Yelp attributes some of the brand rankings to the popular trend of “treating yourself,” saying customers stopping by brands like HomeGoods, Dutch Bros, and Insomnia Cookies helps “drive many businesses forward.”
