ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Oasis is an educational nonprofit organization primarily for retirees. The organization helps older adults continue personal growth through arts, humanities and health and wellness.
Oasis will be holding a seminar on the importance of medication adherence. Knowing which medications to take and how much can be difficult and confusing for people. Alicia Pruitt from Optum New Mexico will be helping people learn to be better informed of about their medication, including what questions to ask their provider or pharmacists, what medications go together, how to avoid side effects and more.
