Isotopes to host season opener on Friday night

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The 2024 baseball season is here and the ‘Topes are set to begin on Friday night.

“I think the fans can expect an exciting ball club,” said Isotopes manager Pedro Lopez. “I think we set that culture last year in the second half. The message has already been sent to the players about how we’re going to run the bases and what we’re doing every time we come up to the plate.”

The Isotopes opening night roster is full of power and some familiar faces. In total, three of the Rockies top prospects will suit up for Albuquerque on Friday.

The Isotopes will open the season with a three-game homestand against the El Paso Chihuahuas. Friday night’s opener will begin at 6:35 and the first 3,000 fans will receive an ear flap hap.
